League Update

March 28th marks what would have been the first games played at Atlantic this spring. We were ready to go and ironically, more prepared to start the season than we have been in many years. We made a significant investment on the fields and complex this spring as well as on uniforms, equipment and supplies. This weekend would have been an exciting time for us all and yet, here we sit...and wait.

Since many have asked how Atlantic plans to handle the season, the short answer is that we just don't know at this point. Like you, we are handling this situation day by day, week by week and just trying to make sense of it all. We will continue to follow the guidance of township, county and state officials and come to decisions that make sense for the health and safety of our league families. What we can say at this point is that we're not ready to throw in the towel so when the time comes, we'll be ready.

While we don't know how this is all going to shake out, we hope this ends sooner than later and can provide a memorable baseball and softball season for our kids. After all of this, they'll need it and we all will too.
