AAA/Majors Player Evaluations

Cherry Hill Atlantic will be conducting player evaluations for all of our AAA and Majors players this Sunday, March 7th from 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm. While we normally conduct player evaluations at an indoor facility, we feel the safest option for all of our players and coaches is to conduct evaluations outdoor at the Atlantic fields.

Please note that players will be given a designated time slot to arrive for evaluations based on last name and division. That schedule will be communicated to everyone this Thursday.

While we know certain commitments can interfere with the schedule, with many athletes to evaluate, we ask that families do their best to arrive during their designated slot. It is expected that all players registered in the AAA and Majors division attend to be properly evaluated in anticipation of the player drafts that will be held later next week.

Players attending this Sunday should wear athletic clothing and bring their baseball gloves, helmets and bats. Players will be asked to hit, field, throw and pitch to allow the coaches and Board members the ability to properly gauge the skill level of our players. Doing so enables the coaches to draft balanced, competitive teams which make the season a more fun and exciting experience for everyone.

Please note that the evaluation scores are collected by a designated Board member at the end of the evaluation period, calculated and presented to the coaches again during the draft nights. The information is then collected and destroyed at the conclusion of the draft. The players are never made aware of their ranking and we stress to our coaches to keep that information as confidential as possible.
