Sharks Travel Program - 7U Tryouts - Feb 25th 1pm

Cherry Hill Atlantic is excited to announce tryouts for the 2023 7U Sharks travel baseball program. To be eligible for 7U Sharks, you must sign up to play Little League at Cherry Hill Atlantic, and your player must have a birthday on/after 5/1/2015.

Date: Saturday, February 25th, 1pm

Location: Colossal Sports Academy, 2512 Egg Harbor Rd, Lindenwold, NJ 08021

Registration required to attend tryouts.

If you are interested in your player trying out for Sharks but unable to make this tryout, please email Coaches Lon Leibowitz and Robert Silverstein

Some things to consider if interested in participating in the Sharks travel program:

Sharks games and tournaments will be scheduled to not interfere with our upcoming Little League schedule. This allows those players selected the opportunity to commit to their Little League team while also playing more competitive travel baseball.

All home games will be played at the Cherry Hill Atlantic complex with most games scheduled for Friday nights, Saturday afternoons and evenings and Sundays.

7U eligibility – Players with a birth date that falls on or after May 1st, 2015.

The cut off date for Travel baseball is May 1st which is different from the Little League age determination date. Meaning, some players that are deemed baseball 8’s by Little League will be eligible to participate as a 7U player in travel for the spring travel team.

This is a more competitive level of play and not suited for everyone. There will be players that try out who may not be selected to play.

There will be a cost to participate on the travel teams. The cost will include uniforms, league fees, tournament fees, and umpire fees.

Participation in the travel program will not guarantee a roster spot on one of our summer District or all-star teams.
